It's also shockproof, waterproof, dustproof, and freezeproof. Myself, I have the DMC-ZS7 and I love it.

As a Lumix owner, I would have to recommend considering also picking up the Wasabi Power Battery and Charger Kit for Panasonic Lumix. The camera, as it comes, only charges via USB cord. In my opinion a standalone charger and extra batteries are key.
